The Michigan Helmet Project website originally came online in August, 2003. It was created by Bill Masserant Jr. of Riverview, MI after seeing the original Helmet Project website.

Unfortunately, his site went dead on August, 2006. After many unsuccessful attempts to contact him, I bought the .org domain and resurrected the site. I did finally hear back from him, and he stated that he was glad someone decided to continue on with the project. So, I received his blessings.
